Most Popular Anime TV Shows — SeasonTracker Tracking Data August 2026
Thirty-nine SeasonTracker users are tracking JUJUTSU KAISEN this week, which is enough to put it at the top of the site's anime rankings for the week of August 17, 2026. One Piece sits two trackers behind at 37, and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End holds third with 28. After that the numbers drop sharply: fourth place belongs to Delicious in Dungeon at 13, a gap of 15 trackers from third to fourth.
Those figures come out of a tracking base of 1,420 SeasonTracker users following 5,823 unique titles. That ratio matters when reading the list below. With that many shows in circulation, a title holding a double digit tracker count is doing so against an unusually wide field of competition.
The full anime top 15 by tracker count:
1. JUJUTSU KAISEN (MBS) - 39 trackers 2. One Piece (Fuji TV) - 37 trackers 3. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Nippon TV) - 28 trackers 4. Delicious in Dungeon (AT-X) - 13 trackers 5. Hell's Paradise (TV Tokyo) - 12 trackers 6. Solo Leveling (Gunma TV) - 12 trackers 7. Witch Hat Atelier (Tokyo MX) - 12 trackers 8. Dan Da Dan (MBS) - 12 trackers 9. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Fuji TV) - 12 trackers 10. Chainsaw Man (TV Tokyo) - 11 trackers 11. SPY x FAMILY (TV Tokyo) - 10 trackers 12. Bleach (TV Tokyo) - 10 trackers 13. My Hero Academia (Nippon TV) - 10 trackers 14. Death Note (Nippon TV) - 9 trackers 15. The Apothecary Diaries (Nippon TV) - 9 trackers
Week-over-week movement is minimal across the board, which is itself the notable finding. Only three titles changed at all. JUJUTSU KAISEN added one tracker, extending its lead over One Piece, which held flat. SPY x FAMILY and Bleach each gained one, both landing at 10. Everything else in the top 15 recorded no change. SeasonTracker users are treating these titles as settled library entries rather than churning through them.
The middle of the table is effectively a tie. Positions five through nine are all on 12 trackers, meaning Hell's Paradise, Solo Leveling, Witch Hat Atelier, Dan Da Dan and Demon Slayer are separated by ordering rules rather than by user behaviour. Chainsaw Man at 11 and the three way tie at 10 continue that compression. Any single new tracker in this range would reshuffle five or six positions at once.
Status is split close to evenly. Seven of the 15 are marked Returning Series, including all three of the top titles, while eight have ended. Death Note, ranked 14th with 9 trackers, is the clearest case of catalogue tracking rather than current season tracking, and it is being logged at roughly the same rate as The Apothecary Diaries, which is still returning.
Network concentration is worth noting too. TV Tokyo accounts for four entries in the top 15, Nippon TV for four, and Fuji TV and MBS for two each. Ten of the 15 titles carry Sci-Fi and Fantasy alongside Animation, and Action and Adventure appears on 12 of them.
