Most Popular Comedy TV Shows — SeasonTracker Tracking Data October 2026

October 19, 2026

Ted Lasso is tracked by 347 SeasonTracker users as of the week of October 19, 2026, making it the most tracked comedy on the platform by a margin of 82 users over the next title. That gap is the widest at the top of any genre chart we publish, and it has been growing: Ted Lasso added 30 trackers over the past month, the largest month-over-month gain in the comedy top 15.

Across SeasonTracker, 2,588 users are currently tracking at least one show, with 7,916 unique titles in active lists. The comedy rankings below reflect every show carrying a comedy genre tag, including the drama and crime hybrids that make up most of the upper half of the list.

1. Ted Lasso (Apple TV) - 347 trackers 2. The White Lotus (HBO) - 265 trackers 3. Shrinking (Apple TV) - 263 trackers 4. Wednesday (Netflix) - 201 trackers 5. Only Murders in the Building (Hulu) - 179 trackers 6. The Bear (Hulu) - 169 trackers 7. Tulsa King (Paramount+) - 127 trackers 8. The Rookie (ABC) - 126 trackers 9. Widow's Bay (Apple TV) - 114 trackers 10. Bad Monkey (Apple TV) - 113 trackers 11. Emily in Paris (Netflix) - 113 trackers 12. The Studio (Apple TV) - 111 trackers 13. Rooster (HBO) - 100 trackers 14. The Gentlemen (Netflix) - 92 trackers 15. Stick (Apple TV) - 92 trackers

The closest contest on the chart is for second place. The White Lotus sits at 265 and Shrinking at 263, a two tracker difference. Both gained two users week over week, so the ordering held, but Shrinking has the stronger monthly trend at plus 14 against plus 7 for The White Lotus. On current rates the positions would swap within a few weeks.

Tulsa King posted the largest weekly gain in the top 15 at plus 6, roughly three times the typical weekly movement elsewhere on the list. It also added 14 trackers over the month, matching Shrinking and putting it well clear of The Rookie at 126 despite the two shows sitting one rank apart.

The Bear is the only show on the chart losing ground. It was flat week over week and down 3 over the month, the sole negative monthly figure in the top 15. It is also the only title here marked as Ended, which is consistent with what SeasonTracker users typically do after a series concludes: lists stop growing, then slowly contract as completed shows are cleared out. The Bear still holds sixth at 169 trackers, so the decline is gradual rather than sharp.

The Gentlemen is worth noting further down. At 92 trackers it is tied for fourteenth, but its plus 18 month-over-month figure is the second largest monthly gain on the chart, behind only Ted Lasso. Widow's Bay shows a similar pattern in reverse at the weekly level: down 1 for the week, but up 12 for the month.

Apple TV accounts for five of the fifteen entries, including three of the top ten. Netflix has three, Hulu two, HBO two, with single placements for Paramount+ and ABC.
