Ahn Dan-tae meets Gong Shim for the first time because she drops a pot from the rooftop. She sees him again around the neighborhood, seemingly bullying students and taking their money. This is a misunderstanding, and they just can't seem to avoid running into each other.

Shim visits Dan-tae's law office to ask about suing the lady that assaulted her at the gas station. Gong Mi removes the security camera evidence from the gas station to prevent her sister from filing a case. She requests that Shim drop her case.
